I agree with Tomcat
Tutorials are always worth preserving. There are a lot of people with massive talent who are submitting crap.
Talent is important, vision makes it art, passion drives your message. But nothing replaces knowing what you're doing. Not to mention the time it can save you to know techniques folks have already worked out.
If more people read tutorials, fewer pieces would be blammed. If more people would lurk for a few days before submitting, blams could be cut in half.
More importantly, decent pieces could become good ones.
